PewPewPew: a free multiplayer space shooter
PewPewPew is a fast space dogfight that runs in your browser, on phone and desktop. Pick a name, press Play and you are flying in a live room with up to 32 pilots. There is no download and no account.
How to play
Your ship turns on a dime and drifts through space. Shoot the other pilots and stay alive.
Your score is kills minus deaths. Your life bar grows back over time.
Shoot the smallest rocks apart and they may drop a power-up. Double Shot upgrades your cannon at once, up to a triple cannon. Health and Shield go into your power-up slot until you use them.
Rocks float through the field: hide behind them or shoot them apart.
When you are shot down, the kill cam replays the moment. Press Play again to fly back in.

You can change the keys, graphics and sound in Settings (the gear, top right).
Play with friends
Play with friends opens a room of your own. Pick the bots, asteroids, power-ups, the cannon every ship starts with, the most pilots, the round length and the kills to win, then send the link. A room is link only unless you make it public.

Is PewPewPew free?
Yes. It is free to play in the browser.
Do I need to download anything or sign up?
No. Open the page, pick a name and press Play. There is no download and no account.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On a phone you fly with an on-screen stick and use the FIRE and USE buttons. On a computer you use the keyboard.
How many players are in a room?
Up to 32 pilots. Bots fly in open rooms so there is always someone to fight, and each player who joins takes a bot's seat.
Can I play with my friends?
Yes. Press Play with friends, pick the room's rules, then send the link. Your friends join your room from the link.
